What this notice covers
This notice covers personal data we collect through evam.life and its language versions: when you visit the site, fill in a form, sign up for our newsletter, download a resource or apply for a job.
It does not cover data processed inside the Evam products (Vehicle Services and Central Services). There, our customers decide how incident and operational data is used, and Evam processes it on their behalf under each customer's agreement and data processing agreement.
What we collect and why
We only collect what you give us in a form, plus the technical data any website needs, and analytics and marketing data only if you accept it. We don't sell personal data.
When | What we collect | Why | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|---|
You book a demo | Name, work email, organisation, role, type of service, country, your message, site language | To arrange and hold the demo and follow up on your interest in Evam | Legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
You contact us | Name, work email, organisation, your message, the topic you chose | To answer you and route your question to the right person | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) |

You sign up for the newsletter | Work email, sign-up date and confirmation | To send new articles and Radio Chatter episodes | Consent, given with the newsletter checkbox (Art. 6(1)(a)) |
You apply for a job | What you submit in the application: contact details, CV, cover letter, answers | To assess your application and contact you | Steps before a possible employment contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legitimate interest; consent if we keep you in mind for future roles |
You accept analytics cookies | Pages visited, how you got here, device and browser type, approximate location, a pseudonymous ID. If you also fill in a form, HubSpot links these visits to your contact details | To understand which content is useful, improve the site and see which pages matter to the people who contact us | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) |
You accept marketing cookies | Your IP address, the pages you visit and when | To identify which organisation the visit comes from (from the IP address), so we can follow up with organisations that show interest. We see the organisation, not who you are | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) |

Who we share data with
We use a few service providers to run the site. They process data only on our instructions, under a data processing agreement, and may not use it for their own purposes.
Provider | What they do for us | Based in |
|---|---|---|
Webflow, Inc. | Hosts the website, receives form submissions, keeps server logs | USA |
HubSpot, Inc. | Our CRM: stores form submissions, sends resources and newsletters. If you accept analytics cookies, its tracking code also records your visits | USA |
Jobylon AB | Our recruitment system: receives and stores job applications | Sweden |
CookieHub ehf. | Shows the cookie banner and stores your choice | Iceland (EEA) |
Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC | Google Tag Manager: loads the analytics and marketing tools listed here, and only those you have accepted. It sets no cookies of its own, but Google sees your IP address when it loads | Ireland / USA |
Leadinfo B.V. | Identifies the organisation behind a visit from its IP address, only after you accept marketing cookies | Netherlands (EU) |
jsDelivr and similar content networks | Deliver site scripts quickly; they see your IP address | Global |
We may also share data when the law requires it, for example with authorities, or with advisers and a buyer if Evam's business is reorganised or sold.
Transfers outside the EU/EEA
Some providers above are based in the USA, so your data may be transferred there.
Your rights
You can ask us, free of charge, to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you (access);
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your data, unless we must keep it by law;
- restrict how we use your data while a question is being resolved;
- give you your data in a machine-readable format (portability), where we rely on consent or a contract;
- stop using your data where we rely on legitimate interest, including for marketing; you can also unsubscribe from any email with one click;
- withdraw your consent at any time, for example for the newsletter, analytics or marketing cookies. This doesn't affect what we did before.
Email us at the address under Who we are. We reply within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity.
If you're not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY) at imy.se, or to the data protection authority where you live or work.
Cookies
We only use cookies that the site needs to work, unless you accept more. Analytics and marketing cookies load only after you say yes in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer. Our cookie policy lists every cookie, what it does and how long it lasts.
Security, children and changes
We protect personal data with access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and providers that meet recognised security standards. Evam's own information security work follows ISO 27001.
The site is aimed at professionals and is not meant for children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
We update this notice when the way we use data changes. The date at the top shows the latest version; for significant changes we'll also tell newsletter subscribers.
